SEO and marketing for electricians, for both kinds of work: the call that can’t wait, when the power’s out, a breaker keeps tripping or an outlet is sparking, and the planned job, like a panel upgrade, an EV charger or a generator. As an electrician marketing agency, we build the website, the Google Business Profile and SEO, Google Ads and Local Services Ads, and custom AI tools for your business.

Websites start at $2,400. Google Ads management starts at $500 a month, and your ad spend is paid to Google, separately. Based in Dracut, Massachusetts. We work with businesses across the US, with deep roots in the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire (Salem, Nashua, Manchester).

How do electricians get more customers from Google?

By being easy to find and easy to trust at the two moments people look: when something electrical goes wrong, and when they plan a job.

When the power’s out or a breaker keeps tripping, a homeowner searches “electrician near me”, looks at Google Maps and calls someone close who looks trusted. That decision is quick.

A panel upgrade or an EV charger gets more thought. People read reviews, look at photos of your work, check that you’re licensed and insured, and ask about price and whether you cover their town. Some ask ChatGPT or read Google’s AI answer first.

That’s what electrician marketing comes down to: a complete Google Business Profile, a page for each service and town, ads for urgent searches and a review request after every job.

It’s also why electrician leads are best when they come to you alone. A shared-lead service sells the same homeowner to several electricians; your own website, Google profile and ads don’t.

What would you build for my electrical business?

Five pieces, and you can start with whichever you need first.

  • A website with a clear path for each kind of call

Electrician website design starts with your services and your towns: panel upgrades, EV chargers, generators, repairs and each town you cover get their own page. Your license and service area are easy to see, and a call button sits on every page.

  • Your Google Business Profile and SEO for electricians

SEO for electrical contractors starts with keyword research: the words people in your towns use when they need an electrician. Then a page for each service and town, a complete Google Business Profile with real photos from your jobs, the site basics Google checks, and an easy way to ask every customer for a review. That’s local SEO for electricians: the work that helps you show in the map results and the regular results for the towns you cover.

  • Google Ads and Local Services Ads

Electrician PPC puts you in front of the homeowner searching “emergency electrician near me” or “panel upgrade”, in the towns you choose. We also manage Local Services Ads, the pay-per-lead ads with the Google Verified badge. Every week a person goes through the searches your ads showed for and blocks the ones that aren’t jobs.

How we run Google Ads for electricians, in full: Google Ads for contractors.

  • Showing up in AI answers (a separate service)

AI assistants like ChatGPT and Google’s AI results draw on websites and business profiles they can read clearly. We set yours up so they can describe your company, services and towns correctly. No one can guarantee an AI tool will mention you.

  • Custom AI builds and business systems

We can build tools that fit how your business runs, for example a text back to callers you missed, follow-up on quotes, and other custom tools. We start from the phone, calendar and software you already use, and each build is quoted after a call.

Local Services Ads or regular Google Ads: which should an electrician run?

Often both. Local Services Ads charge you per lead and sit at the top of many service searches; regular Google Ads charge per click and let you choose the searches, the words and the page people land on.

Local Services Ads

  • You pay per lead: a call, message or booking.
  • Google picks the searches, from the services and areas you set.
  • Your business must pass Google’s screening and verification first.

Google is moving Local Services Ads into Google Ads during 2026. If we run yours, we keep managing them through the move.

Google Search ads

  • You pay per click.
  • You choose the searches; we add the ones you want and block the rest.
  • Open to most businesses, with ads in your own words.

Google’s own advice is to use Local Services Ads for customers who need a service right now, and regular Google Ads for everyone else, including people still comparing. For an electrician, that often means Local Services Ads for the call that can’t wait, and Search ads for the jobs you want more of, like panel upgrades, EV chargers and generators.

What does electrician SEO and marketing cost?

Two kinds of price: published starting prices for websites, website care and Google Ads management, and quotes for SEO, AI answers and custom AI builds, which depend on your market and your business.

  • Website, up to 5 pagesStarting at $2,400About 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff once your content is ready, with three rounds of revisions.
  • Website, up to 10 pagesStarting at $3,600

Before you hire an electrician marketing agency: four checks

Ask any agency these four questions, and ask us too. Our answer is under each one.

  • Fees separate from ad spend

Google Ads management starts at $500 a month. Your ad spend is paid to Google, not to us.

  • Reports on calls, not just clicks

For Google Ads, a simple monthly report: spend, tracked calls and forms, cost per lead and what we changed.

  • You own what you pay for

You own the custom website you pay for. Your Google Business Profile and Google Ads account stay in your name, and they stay yours if you leave.

  • Prices you can see

Starting prices for websites, website care and Google Ads management are on this page. Anything quoted is quoted in writing before work starts.

Will I know if it’s working?

Yes. We count what can turn into work: phone calls and forms, not clicks alone.

We track calls and forms from your website, your Google profile and your ads, where tracking is set up. If we run your Google Ads, you get a simple monthly report: what you spent, your tracked calls and forms, the cost per lead and what we changed.

Booked jobs live in your own records, so we count them only when you tell us.

What happens after I get in touch?

A call, a look at what you have, then a written plan and price before any work starts.

  1. A call

Tell us your services, the towns you cover and the jobs you want more of.

  2. A look at what you have

We review your website, your Google profile and any ads, and tell you what we’d do first.

  3. A plan, then the work

You get a written plan and price. A new website takes about 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff once your content is ready, with three rounds of revisions.

Electrician marketing questions, answered

Leads and your website

How do I get more electrical work?

By being easy to find and easy to trust at the two moments people look: when something electrical goes wrong, and when they plan a job. That means a website with a page for each service and town, a complete Google Business Profile, ads for the urgent searches and a review request after every job.

Should I buy shared electrician leads or build my own?

Shared leads are usually sold to several electricians at once, so you race others for the same homeowner. Your own website, Google profile and ads bring calls only to you, and the website and profile keep working after they’re built.

Can you fix my existing website, or do I need a new one?

We start with a look at your current site and tell you which it needs. A rebuild is priced like a new website, starting at $2,400. If it’s a WordPress site you want to keep, we can look after it once we’ve reviewed it.

Most of this is written for residential work. If you also do commercial jobs or work for general contractors, tell us: that work gets its own pages too.

Cost and services

What does electrician SEO include, and what does it cost?

Electrician SEO is the work that gets your website and Google profile found when people nearby search: keyword research, a page for each service and town, a complete Google Business Profile, the site basics Google checks and an easy way to ask for reviews. It depends on how many services and towns you cover and how busy your market is, so we quote it after we look at your market.

How much does Google Ads management cost for an electrician?

Starting at $500 a month for management. Your ad spend is paid to Google and is separate, and we recommend at least $1,000 a month. Setup is quoted, and the term is a 3-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days’ notice.

Google Ads for contractors

Can you build AI tools for my electrical business?

Yes, as custom work. We can build, for example, a text back to callers you missed, follow-up on quotes, and other custom tools. We look at the phone, calendar and software you already use, then quote the build after a call. We don’t sell an off-the-shelf answering service.

Can you help my electrical business show up in ChatGPT and Google’s AI answers?

Yes, as a separate service. We set up your website and Google profile so AI tools can read them clearly and describe your services and towns correctly. No one can guarantee an AI tool will mention you, and we won’t claim it.

Working with us

Who owns the website and the accounts?

You own the custom website you pay for, and your Google Business Profile and Google Ads account stay in your name. We work in them with manager access, and they stay yours if you ever leave.

Can you guarantee more electrician leads?

No. No one can guarantee calls, leads or rankings, and be careful with anyone who does.

Tell us the jobs you want more of. We’ll show you where we’d start.
